Camden City Rescue 1 used the jaws of life to free 1 victim who was transported to Cooper Trauma in Camden in critical condition.

The Camden City Police Department is investigating.

Whereas the departments of the City of Gloucester have engaged in questionable methods of law and ordinance enforcement,

Whereas the current administration has formed numerous committees and hired special assistants to serve its interests,

And whereas the current administration remains largely silent when the general public has raised issues of community interest or concern that are not of interest to the administration,

There appears to be a need for an Ombudsman Committee to represent those members of the community that feel oppressed or disenfranchised by the functioning of the current administration and its departments.

Such a committee should be comprised of citizens who are willing to work for the resolution of community concerns and disputes. Members of an Ombudsman Committee should be willing to meet and discuss in a public forum the concerns and or complaints of all citizens regardless of status or political affiliation. Members of an Ombudsman Committee should be willing and able to bring community concerns and or complaints to the appropriate department heads or administrative committees and then publicly announce the resolutions it was able to achieve.

As for the gun, Sgt. Brian Morrell, police spokesperson said, \”No gun was located. No witnesses were found that saw any type of gun produced\”.

On 05/02 at 0044 a resident of the 600 block of Ridgeway Street for a stolen motor vehicle. The victim left the vehicle running in front of the residence. He then heard the vehicle drive away. The vehicle was located at 0211 hours by Camden P.D.

This used to be a playground/park. Now its crap. Over grown weeds, trash, parked cars, an abandon basketball court. The photo of the sewer drain, located behind the PAL building (old Brown Street School) is covered with a trash can because there\’s NO grating or cover at all. Someone should tell Councilman Marchese that the 2nd Ward extends past Martin\’s lake! 

The Highway Department was contacted about the sewer drain missing a grating. A message was left on their answering machine. ~Bill Cleary

Betty was called home by her Lord and Savior on May 2, 2010 in Norfolk. At 16, Betty went to work at Radio Condenser where she met the love of her life, Frank Mesmer. After Frank and Betty were married, she went to work for New York Ship and stayed with them for 20 years. She later worked as a teacher\’s aide for special needs children. Several years after the passing of her first husband, Betty met and later married Wilbur Rowand. They enjoyed an active lifestyle and traveled frequently. Betty enjoyed visiting relatives and watching NASCAR racing. Betty was very creative and could often be found creating crochet blankets or needlepoint samplers. Betty was a lifelong member of Church of Our Savior in Camden, N.J., until its closing. She was a volunteer for Deborah Hospital Foundation for many years until she moved to Virginia where she became a very active member of St. Peter\’s Episcopal Church.
