Philomena (Phyllis) Thomas of Gloucester City, Loved the Phillies and Camping

 On September 21, 2010 (nee Conlon) of Gloucester City, NJ, age 83. She was the beloved wife of the late John Thomas and loving mother of John of Gloucester City, Edward (Stella) of Bellmawr, Robert (Brenda) and Glenn (Diane) both of Gloucester City. She is also survived by her dear brother Robert Conlon of Bellmawr, 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Phyllis was an avid Phillies Fan and loved going to the Four Seasons Campground where she spent most of her summers for the past 25 yrs. Her funeral services will be private at the request of the family. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the ETHERINGTON-CRERAN FUNERAL HOME, GLOUCESTER CITY, NJ (www.etheringtonfh.com)

Charles J. Dunn Sr., Navy Veteran of WW II Serving on the USS Constellation 

 Passed away peacefully on September 21 2010 at his home in Deptford. Mr. Dunn

\"6a00d8341bf7d953ef0115724332f3970b-120wi\" was born and raised in Philadelphia and was a proud Navy Veteran of WWII serving on the USS Constellation.

He was the beloved father of Tammy Munyon, Linda McClaine (Kenneth) and Charles J. Dunn, Jr. (Jacqueline), loving grandfather of William, Steven and Brittany Munyon, Kenneth (Holly), Charla and Corey McClaine, Katy, Charles III, and Emily Dunn and loving great grandfather of Dylan McClaine. He is also survived by his brother Harry Dunn, Sr. (Catherine), and many loving nieces and nephews and was predeceased by his siblings Sarah Straube, Dorothy Moore, Joseph Dunn, and Josephine Wright. 

Relatives and friends are invited to meet Saturday from 10:00am to 12:00noon at the ETHERINGTON-CRERAN FUNERAL HOME, 700 Powell St. Gloucester City, NJ. Funeral services will be held 12:00 noon at the Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro. There will be no evening viewing. www.etheringtonfh.com.

RAYMOND E. LANEADER, SR.

\"6a00d8341bf7d953ef0115724332f3970b-120wi\" Memorial Services were held for Raymond E. Laneader, Sr., 83, of Audubon Park, who passed away September 5, 2010.

Raymond was a member of the Masons. He proudly served in the US Navy during WWII.

Beloved husband of Catherine E. of 58 years. Devoted father of Rose Ann Laneader, Raymond E. Laneader, Jr. (Cheryl), Alice Marie Laneader. Loving pop-pop of Jessica, Alex, and Evan Laneader, and Erin Thomas. Dear brother of Rose Shinn, Margaret Krause, John Laneader (Agnes), and the late Rita, Mabel, and Marie. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Interment was held privately.


ROBERT F. ELDER

Funeral Services were held for Robert F. Elder, 82, of Gloucester City, formerly of Camden, who passed away September 5, 2010.

Robert proudly served his country in the US Army during WWII and was a member of the Brooklawn American Legion Post 72. He was also a member of the Memorial A.A., and enjoyed playing softball on the Men’s league for many years.

Robert was also active with the Senior Citizens of Gloucester and was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church

Beloved husband of Barbara (nee Scheurich) for 60 wonderful years. Loving father of Robert Elder (Elaine) of Laurel Springs, Elaine Bond (Earl) of Franklinville, and Thomas Elder (Linda) of Gloucester City. Dear brother of Katherine Bell of FL. Proud grandfather of Robert, Michael, Christian, James, Ryan, Katelyn, Lauren, Joe, and Dave. Great grandfather of Jackson Abigail and Anthony.

Friends met at the Etherington-Creran Funeral Home, 700 Powell Street, Gloucester City. Interment was held privately at the convenience of the family.

 

JOSE A. ESCOBAR

Funeral Services were held for Jose A. Escobar, 73, of Bellmawr, who passed away September 5, 2010.

Jose retired from Automatic Plating in Thorofare after over 35 years of service.

Beloved husband of Nora (Giannattasio) of 33 years. Devoted father of Anita Nichols (William), Thomas Escobar (Michele) and Vivian Walsh (Matthew). Loving grandfather of Charlatte, Victoria, Sara, Loriann, Brian, Isabella, and Daniel and one great granddaughter. Dear brother of Isabel, Aida and Esperanza. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Interment was in New Saint Mary’s Cemetery, Bellmawr.
