\"Garfieldodieheliumballoon.jpg\" Please come out to welcome home Lt. Col. Keith Peirce from serving in Afghanistan. Keith was born and raised in the Delaware Valley in Gloucester City. He graduated from Rutgers University-Camden in 1994 with a BA in History. He was commissioned May 1994 from the University of Pennsylvania NROTC as a 2nd LT in the US Marine Corps. He attended Basic Officer Course in Quantico, VA and graduated Nov. 1994.

Keith was then assigned to Marine Aviation Training Support Group, Pensacola, Fl to attend flight training May 1995. Winged as an Unrestricted Naval Aviator Oct. 1996. Attended AH-1W Fleet Replacement Squadron training in Camp Pendleton, CA from Jan. 1997-June 1997 for training as an AH-1W Cobra Pilot and Tactics Officer deployed aboard naval Amphibious shipping.
