A new curriculum-mapping program was introduced at Bellmawr’s September Board of Education (BOE) meeting.
Presented by Vicky Cohen and Jillian Perkins of On Track, the ClassLink program is an expansive system that can be customized to suit the needs of teachers and students alike.
They said any information can be accessed on a 24-hour basis.
Dottie Specht noted that each district is responsible for monitoring their own content within the program.
Perkins said although they do not audit individual programs at On Track, they would assist if requested.
The program is a professional development series, encompassing such areas as personal leadership, curriculum and instruction, staff and community, as well as resources and operations.
In other business, James Doyle told the Board he would volunteer his time as Band Director on a three-day-a-week basis.
Board President Jamie Casey said they would take his offer under advisement, and would place it on the agenda for their October meeting if warranted.
