Beloved wife of the late Hugh McGovern. Devoted mother of Richard McGovern (Alice), Stephen McGovern (and the late Christine), Mark McGovern (Linda) and Michael McGovern (Linda). Loving Meem of Margaret, John-Paul, Colette, Kelly, Brian, Christopher, Laura and Matthew. Great grandmom of Cara. Dear sister of Margaret Mitchell and the late Harry and Albert Mitchell.

Mrs. McGovern was a member of the Bellmawr Senior Citizens.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the viewing Wednesday morning from 8:45 to 9:45am in the Annunication BVM Church, 601 W. Browning Road, Bellmawr, NJ 08031.

Funeral Mass Wednesday 10am at the Church.

Interment New St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bellmawr.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in Dorothy’s memory to the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Foundation, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Jr. (Mary), Lisa M. Poe (Rob), Bill (Shawn) and John Miller. Best friends of Dawn and Jack Markiewicz and children. Loving grandfather of 13 and great-grandfather of 7. Dear brother of Hank Miller (Keiko), the late Rose Collins and Roni Arrera (Tom). Special \”Grandpop Miller\” of many neighborhood kids.

Joe was a 1955 graduate of Gloucester High School. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy and was a member of the Tin Can Sailors. Joe retired from the Ironworkers Local 399. He was a \”Geezer\” in the Gloucester City Breakfast Club. Joe was an avid fan of Nascar and enjoyed his trips to the casinos.

Relatives, friends and Ironworkers Local # 399 are kindly invited to attend his viewing on Monday evening from 6 to 9 PM and again on Tuesday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at the McCANN-HEALEY FUNERAL HOME: 851 Monmouth Street, (at Brown Street) Gloucester City. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:30 am at Saint Mary’s R.C. Church. Interment with U.S. Navy honors, New St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bellmawr.  Suddenly, On November 22, 2010. Age 74. Of Woodbury. Formerly of Cape May and Gloucester City. Loving and devoted husband of 20 years to Reta (nee Magoun) and the late Gail Sweeney. Loving father of Theresa Netz (Bruce), Daniel (Shayla), Kellie Ann (James) Blymer, Sean, Mark, Luis David (Sam), Thomas and Jeffrey (Kelly). Predeceased by his son, Edward Jr. (surviving Sarah) and granddaughter Katie. Loving and cherished grandfather of Jason, Jesse, Carlie, Jenai, Brandon, Olivia, Riley, Alexandra, Veronica, Chloe, Julia, Christopher, Kari and Kyle. Loving great-grandfather of Jay and Addelynn. Predeceased by his brother Joseph Sweeney and his sister Leona Sweeney.

Ed worked 25 years as a mechanical inspector for the Philadelphia Naval Yard. He was a third degree Knight in the Gloucester City Knights of Columbus Council #674.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend his viewing on Saturday morning from 10 AM to 12 Noon at St. Mary’s R.C. Church: 426 Monmouth Street, Gloucester City, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 12 Noon in the church. Inurnment private New St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bellmawr.
