Back around the late 1800s, the area known as Center Township had some distinct areas that were being settled.

This area, which will later become known as Noreg Village, is still homesteads and farms. There are many visitors coming from Philadelphia across the ferries in Gloucester City and passing through on the dirt roads and small foot paths that lead to distant places such as Woodbury.
