TEACHERS CONTRACT SETTLED; Receive 8.7 Percent Increase over 3 Years

Gloucester City Board of Education (BOE) President Ed Hubbs said a contract agreement has been reached with the teachers that will cover the school years 2010-11, 2011-12, and 2012-13.

During last week’s meeting, Hubbs said the teacher contract negotiations had ended, and that this September will begin the second year of the contract.

For the three years listed above, the teacher’s will receive a 2.9 percent increase each year.
