Runnemede, NJ – Five students from Saint Teresa Regional School received awards from representatives of the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians-Camden County Division One (LAOH) for achieving the top five awards in the 2011-2012 LAOH Irish History Writing Contest. The students wrote essays about the story of Annie Moore and Irish Immigration to America. Each year five winners at the local level are awarded; this year, St. Teresa Regional School students won all 5 awards. The representatives from the LAOH visited the school and presented the certificates and awards to the students. Their winning essays have been submitted to the state level of this contest.
