The Gloucester City Board of Education (BOE) unanimously approved a motion to accept the 2012-13 school budget as presented March 28.
Business Administrator Margaret McDonnell outlined the main points of the $47,467,988 budget, and said that approximately 275 pages of budget information will be submitted to the NJ Department of Education.
McDonnell noted the school district still faces challenges that reflect the \”current economic times in which we now live.\”
Those challenges include contractual salary increases, special education expenses and also rising health and insurance costs.
