Video: Obamacare Blamed for Job Layoffs at St. Lukes Hospital

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – St. Luke\’s Health System plans to cut costs by $100 million in anticipation of the recently-upheld Health Care Reform Act.

The hospital system will do this by streamlining processes, correcting inefficiencies and cutting jobs. And they\’ll do it by the end of 2012.

According to an internal document obtained by 41 Action News, St. Luke\’s is calling its big-picture initiative FOCUS 2015.

Bellmawr School Board Heralds Three PTOs

(Gloucester City News July 12 issue)All three Bellmawr PTO groups were heralded by their school’s principals during the recent Board of Education (BOE) meeting.

Principals Frank Jankowski (Burke), Elizabeth Calabria (Bellmawr Park) and Anthony Farinelli (Bell Oaks) all spoke very highly of their parent support groups for their \”outstanding\” and \”unbelievable\” work throughout the school year in numerous fundraising and other support activities.

As school is now out of session for the 2011-12 year, school reports were given by those principals.

DOYLESTOWN PENNSYLVANIA-American Legion Baseball not only positively impacts the lives of those who play, but also those who watch from the sidelines. That was the case for a Pennsylvania family who watched their son grow from a boy to a man when he played for the Legion Doylestown Tigers. Now, the family is making a financial impact – a $10,000 anonymous donation – to the Doylestown Tigers local Legion sponsor, Albert Atkinson Post 210. It’s the family’s way of thanking the Legionnaires for their ongoing \”selfless support\” to the team, as well as veterans in need of assistance.

CONGRATULATIONS! 14u Little League Girls Softball Team Advances

 

GLOUCESTER CITY NJ-Gloucester City’s 14u Little League Girls Softball team won the District 14 championship game today beating Mount Ephraim by a score of 8-7. The game was played at the Boys Complex on Johnson blvd. A large crowd of Gloucesterites were on hand to route for the locals.

 

The next game will be played 8 PM in Monroe Township.
