KUDOS FERAL TREASURES

I enjoyed the articles about the Feral Treasures in the Gloucester City News by Anne Forline.

I wish the people devoting their time to Feral Treasures (especially Doran, Mike and Sue) would get more support from the people of Gloucester City. They do an outstanding job and are always willing to help you with feral cats.

Keep up the excellent job you are doing. P.S. Thanks to Mike for being there during Hurricane Sandy.

Lillian Euloi, Gloucester City

THANKS BROOKLAWN FIRE DEPT.

I want to express our thanks to Brooklawn Fire Co. and the fire companies in this area for their 24-hour readiness to assist our towns during and after Hurricane Sandy.

Our fire companies and police departments are heroes we should not take for granted.

Doris Pulaski, Brooklawn

THANKS GLOUCESTER CITY POLICE

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Chief George Berglund and the men and women of the Gloucester City Police Department for maintaining law and order in our fair city.

We are a small town with a \”big city\” drug problem. For those harboring these criminals, creep, creatures and dope feigns as lovers, boyfriends or brothers from another mother, shame on you. Get out of my City!

I have lived in this town for 55 years. Go back to the rock you crawled from under. Gloucester City, \”Love It Or Leave It.\” P.S. Adios Mr. Tito Diaz, Jr.

Robert J. Hagan Jr., Gloucester City

Bill Donahue: Obama Joins Manger Scene

Catholic League for Religious and Civil Rights

November 13, 2012

Bill Donohue comments as follows:

The Italians are famous for creating novel nativity scenes, but this year they outdid themselves by including President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle. Look for the ACLU to import the Obama crèche and have it erected on the White House lawn, making the case that this is a free speech issue, not a church and state matter. And because some of the figurines hold a sign that says, \”God Bless America,\” look for Obama’s fans to thank him for his blessing.

Shame on the Italians for overlooking Joe—there are any number of animals he could have represented.

Bellmawr Swears In New Councilman Joshua Tregear

By Chris Concannon

Gloucester City News

Following a postponed ceremony, Bellmawr Mayor and Council welcomed Joshua Tregear as their newest Councilman at an informal November 1st swearing-in.

The event had been postponed from Monday October 29, as the result of Hurricane Sandy.

Tregear was chosen from a short list of three possible candidates, including Timothy Baldwin and Raymond Stayszck.

All three individuals were recommended to the Borough Council by the Camden County Democratic Committee.

Mr. Tregear assumes the seat vacated by the retiring Regina Piontkowski, who had resigned from Council September 30 for health and other reasons.
