FRESHWATER FISHING DIGEST IS AVAILABLE
The NJDEP Division of Fish and Wildlife is informing anglers that the 2013 Freshwater Fishing Digest is available online in PDF format. An interactive version will be available soon on the publisher\’s website.
The PDF version can be downloaded in its entirety and in smaller segments. The print version will begin arriving next week in sporting goods stores, license agents and division offices.

William \”Billy\” Ard and David Szott among those enshrined
ROBBINSVILLE, NJ (December 4, 2012) — A New York Giants Super Bowl XXI hero and a retired Jetsstandout are among the 11 Garden State sporting luminaries inducted into the NJSIAA (New Jersey StateInterscholastic Athletic Association) Bollinger Hall of Fame\’s class of 2012.
William \”Billy\” Ard, who retired from the National Football League with a New York Giants Super BowlXXI ring, attended Watchung Hills High School from 1973-1977. From there, he went on to Wake ForestUniversity on a full athletic scholarship, and as a football star was named to the All–ACC team, along withbeing a Sporting News 1st Team All-American. He played in both the Senior Bowl and Hula Bowl prior tobeginning his NFL career.

The dolphins are part of the Navyâs $28 million marine mammal program, which employs dolphins and sea lions to keep ports free of dangers.
Some 24 dolphins that the US Navy uses to hunt mines will be replaced by mine-hunting robots within five years, the San Diego Union-Tribune reported.
The dolphins are part of the Navy’s $28 million marine mammal program, which trains and employs 80 bottle-nosed dolphins and 40 California sea lions to detect and clear mines and other dangers from ports, the Union-Tribune reported.
