I am the cousin of Nicole Ayres. As you know, Nicole, 22, of Deptford Township, was murdered on Sept. 13, 2010, by Stephen Headley (who pleaded guilty to first-degree murder).
I am writing about how my family was treated by my local state senator, Fred Madden, during this trying time. I want people to know that I reached out to Madden for support with the court case when it was probable that the Superior Court judge in Burlington County was going to sentence Headley, now 30, to only 30 years in prison.
