CHUCKLES: WHAT A LIFE!
- My dog sleeps about 20 hours a day.
- He has his food prepared for him.
- His meals are provided at no cost to him.
- He visits the Dr. once a year for his checkup, and again during the year, if any medical needs arise.
- For this he pays nothing, and nothing is required of him.
- He lives in a nice neighborhood in a house that is much larger than he needs, but he is not required to do any upkeep.
- If he makes a mess, someone else cleans it up.
- He has his choice of luxurious places to sleep.
- He receives these accommodations absolutely free.
- He is living like a king, and has absolutely no expenses whatsoever.
- All of his costs are picked up by others who earn a living.
- I was just thinking about all this and suddenly it hit me like a ton of bricks ~
- My dog is a CONGRESSMAN!

GREAT MOVIE REVIEWS in the GLOUCESTER CITY NEWS
When I started to read my Gloucester City News on Thursday, I was surprised and delighted to see a movie review by Damien Andre, a young man I met and known for years.
I read Damien’s review and enjoyed it very much. For a long time I have wondered what a Hobbit was, but never read the book. Nor did I see the movie ad, as I do not care for watching movies.
By the time I read this article, I felt tempted to do something about my lack of knowing about a Hobbit.
Damien did a good job. He is an intelligent and well educated young man. I saw a few of his first movies, and that sold me on his understanding of his objective in life.
Thanks for giving Damien a chance to show what a great job he can do. God Bless you.

Jesuit High School In Tampa Gets New Chapel | CNA/EWTN News
TAMPA, FLA., February 17 (CNA/EWTN News) .- A Jesuit High School in Tampa, Fla., recently dedicated its new chapel, which was beautifully re-designed to encourage devotion to God.
\”The Jesuits recognized that the existing chapel was becoming inadequate to the growing liturgical needs and desires of the community,\” artist Joel Pidel, who re-designed the chapel, told CNA Feb. 13.
Pidel noted \”that greater devotion would be fostered\” by transforming the space \”into a place that more fully or evidentially manifested God\’s beauty.\”
\”Beauty increases devotion,\” he added, \”beauty is the \’natural\’ analog of grace, a continual reminder that everything is gift, and that our every response should be one of gratitude.\”

Letters: Thank You Mr. Johnson for Finding Pepper
A BIG THANK YOU
I cannot express my thanks enough to Jim Johnson.
My senior dog, Pepper, had wandered away in the early hours of Monday, February 4, as
I was fixing her outside chain. She has a leg problem plus the temperature was below freezing. I spent hours looking for her.
Due to the kindness of Mr. Johnson, Pepper was returned to me. It was the best birthday gift I received. Mr. Johnson renewed my faith in the goodness of people.
Please accept my heartfelt gratitude.
