Remember When (Oct. 2008) ? Plans Call for a Irish-Themed Village of Shops and Restaurants

\”Government is not the solution to our problem. It is the problem.\”

~ President Ronald Reagan

NOTE: Gloucester City recently announced it is phasing out the local UEZ and is turning over the program to a new group of seven volunteers named the Gloucester City Economic Development Corp. We thought it would be interesting to look back at some of the various development plans that have been used/proposed by the James Administration in the last six years, such as this marketing idea (below) that was posted on CNBNews five years ago, January 29, 2008. Over the next few weeks we will also repost the JGSC Group\’s marketing plan that was prepared for Gloucester City in 2007. ~ CNBNews.net

Gloucester girls basketball back in sectional final after big win over Glassboro – NJ.com

GLOUCESTER CITY– Madison McClintock has been the driving force of the Gloucester High School girls basketball team offensively this season, so when she was sitting on the bench with two fouls and two points as the first half came to an end the fact that the Lions were up 14 was more than just a good sign.

McClintock ended up the fourth of four players to score at least nine points Saturday afternoon, with junior Alisha Fox leading the charge with 28. The offensive balance helped No. 2 Gloucester reach a third straight South ersey final with a 67-47 win over Tri-County Conference foe and third-seeded Glassboro.

\”It\’s really good, a team can\’t go after one person, having them surrounding the really dominant player,\” McClintock said. \”People are good outside, more are good inside. We have more flow, you … have to cover every single person.\”
