Worcester State rips Raptors

LAKELAND, Fla. (March 19, 2013) – After knocking off a pair of ranked opponents in the last two days, the Rutgers University-Camden baseball team ran into a buzzsaw here Tuesday at the RussMatt Central Florida Invitational.

Worcester State University, of Worcester, Mass., collected 22 hits, two walks, one hit batsman and was aided by five Scarlet Raptor errors as it defeated Rutgers-Camden, 17-6.

The Lancers improve to 4-4, while the Scarlet Raptors fall to 7-5.
