Artist Sandra Severson will be giving a gallery talk this coming Saturday, April 6 starting at 1 pm in
connection with her solo exhibition \”Living Among Us: Glimpses from the Animal Realm.\”
Come listen to Severson discuss her work, her technique and thematic pre-occupations. A question and answer session will follow.
Severson says of her collection of paintings on view that she feels the animals are \”sharing something of themselves and their world\” with her. The show contains 40 recent oil paintings, including some of Severson’s most extravagant commissions. The exhibitions continue on through April 19, 2013.
