On March 27, 2013. Age 93. Of Collingswood. Formerly of Westville. Survived by his brother Paul Miller.
Walter proudly served our country in the U.S. Army during World War II. Mr. Miller was instrumental in forming the Charismatic Renewal for the Camden Roman Catholic Diocese with the help of the late Auxiliary Bishop James L. Schad, the late Msgr. James P. McIntyre and the late Deacon Frank Iula and wife, Rose. From its beginning 40 years ago, Walter has been a strong leader in spreading the Charismatic Renewal throughout the Camden Diocese. He totally dedicated his life to the Holy Spirit and influenced countless others to do the same. Walter Miller was a conference chairman for the Charismatic Renewal up until his death. He was also involved with many church charismatic prayer groups throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
