(April 19, 1917 – July 24, 2013)

 

Dorothy Anna Sauter, on July 24, 2013, of Pitman Manor, formerly of Gloucester Township. Age 96.

Beloved wife of the late Donald R. Sauter. Loving mother of Donald and his wife Henrietta. Devoted grandmother of Beverly Vallies (Ted) and Cindy Thomas (Roger) and great grandmother of 7 and great great grandmother of 1. Dear sister of the late Joseph Sauter, Frances Craig, Raymond Sauter and Robert Sauter. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Dorothy was a member of St. Agnes Altar Rosary Society.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the viewing from 10 to 10:45am Wednesday morning at Our Lady of Hope Parish, St. Agnes Chapel, 701 Little Gloucester Road, Blackwood, NJ 08012.

Funeral Mass 11am Wednesday in church.

Interment New St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bellmawr.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Dorothy’s name to Fellowship Fund of Pitman Manor, 535 N. Oak Street, Pitman, NJ 08071.

One Man Dies in Franklinville Car Crash

FRANKLINVILLE NJ (JULY 28, 2013)–Two cars driving at high rates of speed in the same direction early today on Jackson Avenue in Franklinville NJ both crashed, leaving one driver dead in a lake at Jackson and Grant avenues.

The deceased driver was Lateef Scarlett (DOB 7/31/91) of Clayton NJ. The 1992 BMW sedan he was driving overturned as it entered a small body of water off Little Ease Run. Scarlett, who was the only occupant of his car, was dead when pulled from the vehicle about two hours after the 4:37 a.m. crash. Members of the Malaga Dive Team and Rescue unit retrieved him.
