HARRISBURG, Pa., Sept. 4, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ — The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board reported on its web site today that August gross revenue from slot machine play at the 12 operating casinos was $205,374,891 and generated $109,977,203 of tax revenue to the Commonwealth.
That gross revenue amount was 2.5% lower than revenue generated from slot machines in August 2012 when revenue hit $210,584,315.
