Bill was best known as a generous, kind, and helpful man, whose tremendous presence of character leaves a lasting impression that cannot be forgotten. He dedicated his faith to the Lord, his love to his adoring family, and his help to anyone and everyone. Bill was an Alumni of Woodbury High, attended Glassboro State College, and was employed for many years as an Insurance Broker. He was a skilled cook at home, a talented photographer, and enjoyed the adventure of travelling to distant countries. His selfless nature led him to volunteer as a fireman, Babe Ruth coach, with the local library and hospital, and was an active member with the Medford Rotary and the Jaycees. Bill hung out in Gloucester City for many years as a teenager, and was a member of the Breakfast Club.
