Philadelphia, July 17, 2014– The City of Philadelphia has released the names of those who received tickets to the Mayor’s Box from January 1, 2014 to June 30, 2014. The City’s policy for distribution of Mayor’s Box tickets is governed by a written, public policy, which provides for the equitable distribution of complimentary tickets received by the City of Philadelphia.

(May 17, 1933 – July 27, 2014)
Beloved husband of Carolyn (nee Lowe). Dear brother of Herbert. Devoted father of Ronald Lunn (Catherine), Jennifer Collins, and Arline Lewin. Loving step-father of Sharon Hartman, Linda Ackley, and the late James Hartman. Adoring grandfather of Erica, Thomas, Jr., Joshua, Samantha Paige, and Samantha Jade, step-grandfather of Matthew and Justin, and great grandfather of Thomas III. Son of the late Walter and Arline D. (nee Downing).
Edwin was a lifelong member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Edwin served on the Runnemede School Board for 6 years and was a member of the Runnemede Senior Citizen Club, a member and chaplain of the American Legion Post 250 and a member of Stetser Lamartine Post 281. Edwin proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict, traveled the world on the US Battleship New Jersey and worked as the Fire Central Technician. He was a member of Local #351/#439 IBEW and worked as an area electrical manager for a large construction company. Edwin was very proud that his grandmother was the 1st principal of Grace Downing School and that the school was named after her.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the viewing from 7 to 9pm Thursday evening and from 9:15 to 10:15am Friday morning at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE.
Funeral Service 11am Friday at Trinity Lutheran Church, 200 E. Clements Bridge Road, Runnemede, 08078.
Interment private at the request of the family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Church.
