Wayne E. Faber’s drunk driving conviction, which resulted from him colliding with the car of a pregnant woman after drinking and driving on his birthday, was affirmed today (9/5) by a state appeals court.
Faber (DOB 12/22/86) , of Malaga NJ, had been out celebrating before the crash at Routes 40 and 47 in Franklin Twp. NJ, where he failed to obey a yield sign and drove away afterward. The other driver in the two-car collision, a woman who was pregnant, reported his vehicle registration number to police. He was apprehended at his residence and told an officer he left the scene because it would have been \”my second drinking and driving.\” His .13 breath test exceeded the legal limit for alcohol in his circulatory system.
