Obituary: Dante Santarelli of Deptford, Stone Mason

 Dante Santarelli – of Deptford on October 29, 2014. Aged 89 years

 Born and raised in Abruzzi, Italy, Dante emigrated from Italy, living in Venezuela before settling and raising a family in Philadelphia’s Germantown Section, before moving to Deptford. A hardworking man, he provided for his family by working as a skilled stone mason. Prior to retirement, Dante was employed by Stanley Lanzetta, Roslyn, PA as well as Ciccozzi & Sons with whom he helped build the familiar stone homes of the \”Great Northeast\” section of Philadelphia.

He is the beloved husband of 58 years to Mariannina (nee Pupi); devoted father of Ivo Santarelli (Linda) and Christopher Santarelli (Karen); loving brother of Mario, Nello and the late Guido Santarelli; loving grandfather of Christina (David), Elizabeth (Jacob), Matthew, Brianna and Dominic and great-grandfather of Giavanna, Ayden and Victoria; also survived by extended family and friends in Italy and Australia.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation 12 Noon and Memorial Service 1PM Monday in the McGuinness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter St., Woodbury. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: St. Margaret’s Regional School, 773 Third Street, Woodbury Heights, NJ 08097.

Gloucester City\’s Favorite Barmaid Pat Walter Succumbs, GCHS Alumni Class of 1949

\"Walter,A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, November 4 11 a.m at Saint Mary Church, Monmouth and Atlantic Sts., Gloucester City for Mrs. Patricia \”Pat\” Walter (nee Keenan) of Gloucester City who died on October 30, 2014 at the age of 83.

Cherished daughter of the late Edward P. and Gertrude Keenan. Loving mother of Donna Lee Florich (Michael), Edward \”Teddy\” Walter (Junita), and Patricia Anne Settar (Michael). Cherished grandmother of Jacqueline, Edward \”Ted\”, Andrew, Marc, Joseph, Meryl, Carly and Paige and great grandmother of Leila and Kendall. Beloved sister of the late Edward \”Teddy\” Keenan and the late Robert and Jean Keenan. Also survived by her beloved nieces Sharyn, Barbara and Carol and her nephew Robert. 

 Patricia was a graduate of Gloucester Catholic class of 1949. She was best known as Gloucester City’s favorite barmaid. 

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Tuesday morning from 8:30 to 10:30 AM at the McCANN-HEALEY FUNERAL HOME: 851 Monmouth St., Gloucester City. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM at St. Mary’s Church, Gloucester City.

Interment New St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bellmawr.
