Bike Officers Arrest Female Suspect, Charged with Burglary

On Tuesday November 4, 2014, GTPD bike officers conducted a Concentrated Proactive Patrol in the area of Atlantic Avenue and Brown Avenue due to reports of increased criminal activity, specifically car burglaries. At approximately 11:27 PM, a bicycle officer assigned to the detail observed a female attempting to gain access to several vehicles. The officer continued to observe the female until she entered a vehicle at which point the bicycle officer called in additional officers and successfully apprehended the female.
