GLOUCESTER CITY NJ(November 11, 2014)–An ongoing investigation by the Gloucester City Police Department Detective Bureau and Patrol Division into the distribution of narcotics resulted in the arrest of two suspects on Monday, November 10, 2014.
The arrests took place in the parking lot of CVS at 455 S. Broadway.
Taken into custody were Todd E. Zane (35) a resident of the 700 unit block of Division Street, and Shawn M. Stratton (34), a resident of the 900 unit block of Koehler Street.
Both suspects were charged with possession of CDS (prescription medication), distribution of CDS, distribution within 500\’ of a public park, distribution within 500\’ of a public building and conspiracy.
According to police both Zane and Stratton provided taped statements to detectives after their arrests detailing their involvement in the distribution of narcotics. Both were later remanded to Camden County Jail after failing to post bail.
The suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
