WILMINGTON (Dec. 11, 2014) – Brandywine Creek State Park will be completely closed to the general public on Tuesday, Dec. 16 and Wednesday, Dec. 17 – including the nature center and park office – for its annual controlled deer hunt, DNREC announced today.
Managed by the Division of Fish & Wildlife and the Division of Parks and Recreation, the hunt will be conducted from deer stands and will encompass both sides of the park. Signs and staff members will be posted in the park to alert the public about the hunt.
