In response to the recent poll story which found a majority of New Jerseyans wanting Gov. Christie to resign if he runs for President, New Jersey\’s Constitution sets up a long and complicated process for the recall of government officials, including the governor. For starters, 25 percent of registered voters must sign the petitions, within 320 days of initiating the process.
