WOODBURY NJ (January 23, 2015)–Eddie Ficara (DOB 11/12/61), of Paulsboro NJ, was sentenced today (1/23) to five years in New Jersey state prison after pleading guilty to making terroristic threats to his wife on 2/8/14 when they lived at a Woolwich Township NJ residence.
In sentencing Ficara, Superior Court Judge Kevin T. Smith ordered that the defendant not be eligible for parole until he serves one year of his sentence.
Ficara pleaded guilty to the third-degree terroristic threats offense on 12/1/14. He has been free on $75,000 bail since his arrest on the day of the incident. A restraining order was issued barring him from contact with his wife, from whom he is separated.
In complaints signed after the 2/8/14 incident, Ficara was accused of pointing a handgun at his wife and \”demanding her to beg for forgiveness and apologize.\”
