Fish & Wildlife Enforcement seeking information on whereabouts of two stolen boats
DOVER DELAWARE (Feb. 16, 2015) – DNREC Division of Fish & Wildlife Enforcement Natural Resources Police officers arrested two men on Feb. 13 in connection with the theft of two boats in Milford earlier this month.
Kevin M. Schilling, 44, of Smyrna, and James P. McCann, 40, of Dover, were arrested and charged with one count each of felony theft, trespassing and conspiracy. Both were remanded to Sussex Correctional Institution in Georgetown in lieu of $1,100 cash bond each, pending trial at a later date.
The theft of the two 12-foot aluminum duck boats occurred Feb. 3 on private property off New Wharf Road in Milford and was captured on surveillance video. At this time, neither of the stolen vessels has been located. One of the two boats displays Maryland registration MD 9868 AV; the other is described as a green aluminum duck boat.
