George Rieder, Gloucester City Fireman, Rams Alumnus Succumbs; Funeral Services Pending

(CNBNEWS)NEW BERN, NC--Former Gloucester City resident and fireman George Rieder passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2015. 

 A Gloucester Catholic High School Alumnus, George began his career with the Gloucester City Fire Department. Later he and his family moved south, where he furthered his firefighting career. 

 George\’s family posted the following on Facebook: 

This afternoon George was called home to Heaven. Our hearts are breaking but know that he is no longer suffering and is at peace. We want to thank all his family and friends who gave him so much love and support especially in this last month. Once we have the arrangement details we will post it.
