PINE HILL NJ (cnbnews.net)–Leadership from the Guru Nanak Sikh Society of Pine Hill and representatives of theDepartment of Justice Community Relations Service presented Sikh cultural understanding training to members of the Pine Hill, Clementon and Pine Valley Police Departments. The training was held over two days at the Pine Hill Police Administration Building as part of a continuing series of training events focused on establishing trusting relationships with community members.
The training sessions provided valuable insight into the religious customs of Sikh men and women and provided best practices for interaction between members of the department and members of the community who keep the Five Ks of Sikhism.
