Spirit Airlines confirmed Friday, its Sunday night flight from Fort Lauderdale to LaGaurdia was diverted to Atlantic City due to bad weather.
According to social media, all the airline had to offer was cookies.
Cue troopers Mark Addotta and Joe Mercurio who showed up with 15 free pizzas to feed the hungry passengers.
