Once Again Paulsboro Rail Bridge Work Delayed

 

The new bridge is open to rail traffic, but the mechanism needed to lift the bridge to allow boat traffic under it isn\’t ready. That means boaters cannot navigate the creek beyond Jefferson Street.

Construction on the new bridge began in July 2014. At the time, officials reported that construction had been delayed over regulations regarding fish migration.

Construction was expected to wrap up by early 2015.

\’Headless body in topless bar\’ writer dies, was a Jersey boy

The writer of perhaps the best-known and most-cited headline in journalism has died. Vincent A. Musetto, who notoriously wrote the headline \”Headless Body in Topless Bar\” for the front page of the New York Post on April 15, 1983, died Tuesday, his former paper reported. He had turned 74 in May. Musetto had worked for The Advance in Dover and grew up in Boonton, the New York Times reports. He earned a bachelor\’s degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University. In recent years, health officials in the Northeast report seeing a number of cases of Borrelia miyamotoi (B. miyamotoi), a much rarer tick-borne illness.
