GTPD Crime Stoppers: Theft of a Wave Runner, Blenheim Section of Gloucester Township: 6-3-2015 1 AM:

BLENHEIM NJ–On Wednesday June 3, 2015 at approximately 1 AM, a Wave Runner and trailer was stolen from the driveway of a residence in the Timber Cover Development. The Wave Runner is a 2014 Yamaha FX Cruiser, Red/ Black/ Gray in color, with NJ registration \”NJ 6017 HG\”. The trailer is a 2015 Sea Lion SK1 Trailer, steel/ white/ black in color, with NJ registration \”TNZ-19J\”.

A neighbor\’s video camera system captured the suspect vehicle driving past their home with the stolen Wave Runner and trailer in tow. The suspect vehicle appears to be a Jeep Wrangler, with a soft top, and a \”Stinger\” V shaped bumper bar mounted to the front. Another resident reported seeing a suspicious red Jeep driving in the area earlier that night, but that has not been confirmed.

NEWARK, N.J. – An associate of the DeCavalcante organized crime family of La Cosa Nostra today admitted his role in distributing more than 500 grams of cocaine, U.S. Attorney Paul J. Fishman announced.

Nicholas DeGidio, 37, of Union, New Jersey, pleaded guilty before U.S. District Judge William H. Walls, to an information charging him with one count of distribution of more than 500 grams of cocaine.

Creek Road Bridge over Route 42 to be closed this weekend

Separate detours in place for cars and trucks

(Trenton) – New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) officials today announced a local traffic detour this weekend as work on the Creek Road Bridge over Route 42 advances as part of the ongoing Direct Connection project in Bellmawr and Mt. Ephraim, Camden County.

NJDOT\’s contractor, PKF Mark III, will close all local traffic across the Creek Road Bridge over Route 42 from 10 p.m. Saturday, June 6 to approximately 6 a.m. Sunday, June 7, to perform utility work. The following detours will be in place:

Two Philadelphia Women Charged in Attempted Theft Case Involving State Victims\’ program

HARRISBURG – Attorney General Kathleen G. Kane today announced criminal charges against $\"Images\"$ two Philadelphia women accused of falsifying public documents in an attempt to receive more than $174,000 from a statewide victims\’ assistance program.

Nola Brittingham, 56, and Beverly T. Dance, 49, both face numerous criminal charges related to the attempted theft. They were charged following an investigation by the Office of Attorney General\’s Bureau of Criminal Investigations.

The investigation revealed Brittingham billed the Victims Compensation Assistance Program for personal care services she provided to a male gunshot victim when in fact the man was receiving care in a hospital.

According to a criminal complaint, agents learned Dance had allegedly falsified invoices based on false dates and information Brittingham, a friend, provided to her. Moreover, agents reported learning Brittingham and Dance billed for nearly 1,000 hours of service at a rate of $175 per hour.

GLOUCESTER CITY NJ (CNBNews.net)--Jimmy Day was a long time fixture in $\"6a00d8341bf7d953ef01bb07cd860f970d-800wi\"$ Gloucester City for many years. A product of the \”Rock and Roll\” era of the 50’s and 60’s he was a handsome lad who had curly black hair and a warm smile. He was educated in the local public school system, loved to play sports, enjoy shooting pool, playing cards and having a few beers with his friends. He was also one of the original members of the now defunct Gloucester City A.C. Hawks and in the beginning could be found at their Burlington Street clubhouse on most weekends hanging out with the guys.

Many of you reading this story might remember this man by his nickname \”Jersey\” or \”Jersey Day\”.

On a recent sunny Sunday, 2,000 youth from the state of New Jersey converged at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, for a day of coasters, cotton candy and communion.

The 10th annual Catholic Youth Rally included youth and parish youth ministers from throughout New Jersey. As it was its turn in the rotation, the Diocese of Camden hosted the day, with Bishop Dennis Sullivan celebrating the closing Mass at 6 p.m. in the park’s Plymouth Rock Arena.

Fatima M. Aviles of Philadelphia Found Guilty of Stealing $35,000 in Verizon Cell Phones

WOODBURY NJ June 2, 2015–Fatima M. Aviles (DOB 11/20/87), of Philadelphia, was found guilty today (6/2) by a Gloucester County jury of burglary and theft of more than $35,000 in cell phones from two Verizon stores in Glassboro and Washington Township in July and August 2013.

After the verdict on four counts of third-degree burglary and three of theft, Superior Court Judge Robert P. Becker set sentencing for Aug. 14.
