(15/P49) TRENTON – The Department of Environmental Protection today proposed revisions to its Flood Hazard Area Control Act rules that will reduce complexity, correct conflicting regulations, and streamline the permitting process for project applicants while continuing New Jersey\’s high standards for flood mitigation and ecological protection of river and stream corridors.

WATCH: Gloucester Catholic Alumnus Kieran McGirl Wins NESN\’s Next Producer Contest

WINNERS (May 25, 2015)–The big reveal finally is here, and NESN’s Next Producer has been named. In a twist, judges Tom Werner and Brad Falchuk decided to split first place among two groups. Boston University’s Kaley Roberts, Christina Beiene and Brittney Badduke won the $20,000 prize for their film \”On the Mic,\” which told the story of Connor Lenahan, who has overcome challenges of physical disability to become \”the voice of Boston University.\” They have been named NESN’s Next Producers. But Werner and Falchuk decided to offer all four students an opportunity to work at NESN.

That meant Sacred Heart University’s Kieran McGirl, who produced the film \”The Rise of Johnny Hockey,\” which chronicles the journey of Calgary Flames winger Johnny Gaudreau, also was a winner. McGirl is an alumnus of Gloucester Catholic High School, Gloucester City NJ , and his film is about his Rams classmate Johnny Gaudreau.
