Passed on July 7, 2015. He was beloved husband of 43 years to the late Carmel Vogel (nee Amorebella). Devoted father of Robert L. Vogel and Hugh J. Vogel, Jr. (Janice); brother of Harry A. Vogel, Jr. (Cathyann), Patricia Ann (Charlie) Fagan and Louis J. Vogel, Sr. (Sandee) and his trusty dog \”Buddy.\”

Hughie was a career Camden City Firefighter, served as Captain and later Chief Union Negotiator. He graduated from Gloucester Catholic High School where he played on the football team. His sense of humor and contagious laugh will be missed.

A Funeral MASS will be celebrated 11:00 AM.at St. John\’s Church, Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Parish, 809 Park Avenue Collingswood, NJ 08108. Interment at St. Joseph\’s Cemetery, Chews Landing.
