Middle Township Man Shot by 19-Year-Old Suspect

Cape May Court House, New Jersey – Cape May County Prosecutor Robert L. Taylor and Middle Township Police Chief Chris Leusner announce the arrest of Jamar Lovett 19 year old male, of Middle Township, N.J, for the shooting of a male in the unit block of Swainton Goshen Road, Middle Township, N.J. The victim was subsequently transported to Cape May Regional Hospital where he is listed in stable condition. 

On July 28, 2015, Middle Township Police responded to Swainton Goshen Road for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival officers encountered the victim who related he was jogging on the unit block of Swainton Goshen Road when he was struck in the upper left arm from what he believed to be a pellet projectile.
