Joan Geraci (née Knapp), on August 16, 2015, of Bellmawr. Age 81.

Beloved wife of the late Samuel. Devoted mother of Joan Geraci, Cynthia Geraci-Shaw, Salvatore Geraci (Kathleen) and Ron Geraci. Dear sister of the late William Knapp. Loving grandmother of Billy, Phillip, Bryan, Lisa, Brittany and the late Christopher, and loving great grandmother.

There will be a viewing from 7 to 9pm Thursday eve and 10 to 11am Friday morning at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE.

Funeral service 11am Friday at the funeral home. Interment New St. Mary\’s Cemetery, Bellmawr.

Family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made in Mrs. Geraci\’s memory to a new scholarship created in her name at the Rutgers University School of Social Work.

RICHMOND, Va., Aug. 19, 2015 /PRNewswire/ — Dominion Midstream Partners, LP (NYSE: DM), announced today that it has entered into agreements with affiliates of National Grid plc and New Jersey Resources Corporation to acquire their ownership interests in Iroquois Gas Transmission System, L.P., in exchange for the issuance of approximately 8.6 million common units in Dominion Midstream having an agreed-upon value of approximately $286.5 million. As part of the agreements, National Grid and New Jersey Resources would contribute their combined 25.93 percent ownership interests in Iroquois to Dominion Midstream in exchange for newly issued Dominion Midstream common units. Dominion Midstream has no plans to acquire the ownership interest in Iroquois currently held by Dominion Gas Holdings, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Dominion Resources, Inc. (NYSE: D).

Catholic League : LGBT Dissidents Welcomed By Methodists

It is hardly surprising that the World Meeting of Families Congress, which is being hosted by the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, would insist that this Catholic event feature Catholic speakers. Yet the Philadelphia Inquirer still treats as breaking news the rejection of groups that have publicly professed their rejection of key Catholic teachings. \"Images-1\"
 
The four dissident Catholic LGBT groups that are not welcome to engage in mutiny at this event are New Ways Ministry, Dignity USA, Fortunate Families, and Call to Action. But they have been invited to hold fort at a local Methodist church. Good for them. They have finally found a home.

South Carolina saves its best for last

Chapin-Newberry (S.C.) Post 193, which had rallied to win three games in the eighth inning or later before Tuesday night, took the lead early and used two big innings to push past Retif Oil (New Orleans), 9-2, and win the 2015 American Legion World Series (ALWS) championship at Keeter Stadium in Shelby, N.C. 

Post 193 (32-1) led 2-1 after the first inning and used a three-run sixth and four-run eighth to break open the game in an ALWS that featured a record 11 one-run games. Peyton Spangler, Justin Hawkins and Kevin Burton each had two RBIs for Chapin-Newberry, while eight different players scored for the winners. Post 193 also totaled 12 hits from nine different players.

\"Unknown\"THE SECRETIVE GLOUCESTER CITY COUNCIL —Gloucester City Mayor and Council will be voting on three ordinances at the THURSDAY, AUGUST 20 meeting that deal with the redevelopment of the Southport area, located on Water Street. The three ordinances were first introduced at the May 28 council meeting. For one reason or another not one of the three is available for public inspection on the city’s website. All that is listed are the numbers for the ordinances, 021,022, and 023.

The ordinances appeared in the Legal Notices of a newspaper on August 13, 2015.

The first ordinance, 021, authorizes the execution of a purchase and sale agreement and settlement agreement between the City and Gloucester Titanium Company (GTC) encompassing approximately 145 acres located in the southwest corner of the city.

Dolores P. \”Dee\” Sperry (nee Higgins), on August 16, 2015, a resident of Bellmawr for 50 years. Age 78.

Dee was a 1955 graduate of Gloucester Catholic High School and a member of the Alumni Assoc. She was a long time member of Mary, Mother of the Church in Bellmawr. 

Dee was a Certified Court Administrator of NJ, past president of South Jersey Court Administrator Assoc., secretary of Camden County Administrator Assoc, parliamentarian of M.M.C.A. of NJ and served as Municipal Court Administrator of Bellmawr for 25 years. 

Beloved wife of the late John J. Canavan and the late Jack H. Sperry. Devoted mother of Danielle Walsh (nee Canavan) and her husband William P. Walsh. Loving grandmother of William D. Walsh (Abigail), Ryan J. Walsh (Jessica) and Daniel S. Walsh (Nicole). Dear sister of John J. Higgins and the late Daniel P. Higgins. Also survived by Diane Auletto (James), Tracy Connolly (Mark), Tina Leo (Jack) and Jaime Grookett (Thomas).

There will be a viewing from 8:15 to 10:15am Friday morning at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE.

Funeral Mass 11am at St. Joachim Parish, Mary, Mother of the Church, Bellmawr.

Entombment New St. Mary’s Mausoleum, Bellmawr.
