VIDEO: Duo Hits Three Local Dunkin Donut Stores During Late Night Smash And Grab Spree

On Monday August 10th between approximately 1:00 am and 3:00 am, Dunkin Donuts stores located in Gloucester Township, Pine Hill Borough and Clementon Borough were victims of smash and grab style burglaries.

Video surveillance from the Dunkin Donuts located at 320 S. Black Horse Pike in Gloucester Township shows two unknown persons wearing hooded sweatshirts and masks break the front glass door with a hammer and enter the store around 1:00 am.

CNB CRIME: Pine Hill Police Department use naloxone for 20th succesful overdose reversal

PINE HILL NJ–On August 9, 2015 at approximately 6:20pm K9 Officer Heron observed a vehicle

parked in the rear of the vacant school in the 400 block of Erial Road. Officer Heron initiated an investigation into the suspicious vehicle and located a male laying in the driver’s seat, actively seizing. Officer Heron requested assistance, removed the victim from the vehicle and began providing aid. Ptl. DiGiacomo, along with assisting Officers, arrived on location a short time later and administered naloxone, successfully reversing the overdose. Ptl. DiGiacomo has administered naloxone 13 times, resulting in 12 successful overdose reversals and lives saved. The individual regained consciousness at the scene was transported by Kennedy EMS for evaluation.

Walter Scobie remembers June 18, 1961 when his quiet morning was shattered by an explosion that ripped through the Stannard Rock Lighthouse where he was stationed.

Mosquito spraying Wednesday Starting 12 AM:In Audubon, Barrington, Brooklawn, Camden, Clementon, Gloucester City, Haddon Hts., Mt. Ephraim, Pennsauken, Pine Hill, Somerdale

 

\"Mosquitrotator\"(Lindenwold, NJ) – The Camden County Mosquito Commission regularly checks several thousand suspected mosquito breeding sites across the county. Spraying is scheduled on an as needed basis based upon the results of their surveillance efforts.

\”With the chance of thunderstorms this evening, it is extremely important to inspect your yard and remove all standing water to reduce the mosquito population,\” said Freeholder Jeffrey Nash, liaison to the Camden County Mosquito Commission. \”Doing so can help eliminate the mosquito population in your neighborhood, and assist the commission’s efforts.\”

CNB Hunting/Fishing New Jersey: New State Record Cobia – Spearfishing Category

\"Reccobia15_sp\"The NJDEP Division of Fish and Wildlife has officially certified, and is pleased to announce, the first entry of a Cobia in the Spearfishing Category of the State Record Saltwater Fish Program.

William Maier of Medford, New Jersey, was off Cape May on July 17, 2015 when he speared the record fish. The fish weighed in at 60 pounds, measuring 56\” in length with a girth of 27\”.

William was out with his father on his 20\’ Boston Whaler the Go Away. He was freediving in 40 ft. of water and saw 3 cobia swimming towards him. He shot the largest with a Riffe Euro 100cm. The fish ran hard and took about 50 yds. of line off the reel. Surfacing, William locked down the line and was towed around for about 15 minutes without the fish tiring. A follow-up shot slowed the fish and allowed William to swim down, get his arms around the fish and swim it to the surface and into the boat.
