YMCA of Gloucester County’s Bright Beginnings Program Makes Going Back to School Easier

This community outreach program will provide children in need with the new clothes and school supplies needed to start the school year.

[August 6, 2015: Gloucester County, NJ] – Having the right \”stuff\” to start school means more success with learning. YMCA of Gloucester County’s (YGC) Bright Beginnings Program is a community outreach program that provides underprivileged children with the new clothes and school supplies needed to start the school year with confidence and excitement. YGC has organized a planned shopping day for Saturday, August 22 at the Walmart on Clements Bridge Road in Deptford. After a fun bus ride in typical Y-fashion, singing and cheering are a must – the kids meet their volunteer shopper and head out to find shirts, pants, shoes, socks and coat. And at the end of the day, the kids receive a backpack filled with school supplies.
