GLOUCESTER CITY NJ–Today, September 21, 2015 at 9:17 am , officers responded to a report of a burglary in progress at a residence on Holly Avenue. Upon arrival, the resident reported she heard a noise outside a first floor window on the rear of the house. When the resident investigated, an unknown male was observed outside the window and the screen had been pushed up.
The male was described as white, approximately 5’8\” tall, wearing a black shirt, blue jeans and a black baseball cap worn backwards. He was also wearing sunglasses and appeared to be young. The male fled from the area prior to police arrival. If anyone witnessed a suspect fitting this description in the area or has any information about this incident, please contact Sgt.
