Philadelphia To Expand Schuylkill River Trail

New segment of the Circuit Trails to expand Schuylkill River Trail and connect users to Southwest Philadelphia and historic Bartram’s Garden 

Philadelphia, November 23, 2015 – Mayor Michael A. Nutter and City officials gathered with members of the community, including school students from Woodland Academy and Richard Allen School, to break ground on the Bartram’s Mile Trail. The future 1.1 mile trail will expand the Schuylkill River Trail (SRT) from Grays Ferry Avenue to 56th Street and unlock an important connection point in the Circuit Trails, Greater Philadelphia’s multi-use trail network.

Jennifer M. Tomasello, on November 29, 2015, of Mt. Ephraim. Age 35.

Devoted mother of Aiden James Trudel. Beloved daughter of Karen & Bill Valloreo and Richard Tomasello. Special granddaughter of Mary Chalmers. Cherished sister of Ernie Bosco (Jessica) and Lisa Valloreo. Loving aunt of Clarissa and Kyle. Dear cousin of Jim Tomasello, Linda Santoro, and Karen Staiano.

Jennifer was a member of the CrossFit 1 Force in West Deptford and won 3rd place in the Liberty Barbell Classic. She was well loved by many and will be deeply missed.

There will be a viewing from 6 to 9pm Thursday evening and from 9:15 to 10:15am Friday morning at GARNDER FUNERAL HOME, BELLMAWR. Funeral service 11am at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Runnemede, NJ. Entombment Locustwood Memorial Park, Cherry Hill.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jennifer’s name to the Aiden Trudel Fund, c/o TD Bank, 129 S. Black Horse Pike, Runnemede, NJ 08078.

(CNBNEWS.NET) GLOUCESTER CITY NEW JERSEY–Construction work has begun at the Gloucester Marine Terminal on the largest rooftop solar power plant (photo above) in North American. Leo Holt, (photo) president of Gloucester Terminals, located at King and Essex Streets in Gloucester City, announced the plans\"\" on Tuesday, June 21 at a press conference held on the rooftop of Building 42, a refrigerated warehouse. 

 The massive, 1.1 million-square-foot project, known as Riverside Renewable Energy, LLC, is a privately-funded $42 million venture that calls for the installation of 27,528 high-efficiency SunPower photovoltaic solar panels that will generate nine megawatts of electricity– or roughly enough to power 1,500 homes – at the Terminal, which is owned by the Holt family.
