The department’s new ice cream truck will make its debut as kids and officers celebrate Halloween with music, candy, bounce houses and more.
Today at 6 p.m. at Morgan Village Middle School, 990 Morgan Blvd, Camden, the Camden County Police Department’s brand-new Metro Ice Cream Truck will make its debut at the Halloween-themed Open Gym event at Morgan Village Middle School.
“The addition of our very own ice cream truck provides our officers with yet another unique opportunity to connect with our residents and their families,” said Chief Gabriel Rodriquez. “This is another example of Unity Policing in action that helps strengthen relationships between the CCPD and the community we serve.”
In addition to the traditional Open Gym activities, including food, music, and basketball, and the Metro Ice Cream Truck, this special Halloween event will feature bounce houses, a costume contest, Halloween treats, and more.
