At the same time, Virtua’s Eat Well Mobile Grocery Store and Mobile Farmers Market will continue standard daily operations to serve community members who rely on these programs. (Schedules are available online at the links provided above.)

Individuals with a SNAP EBT card are encouraged to present their card when shopping on any Virtua vehicle.

Additionally, the Eat Well team is bolstering its Colleague Markets to prepare for increased usage. Virtua offers Colleague Markets in seven locations. There, employees can take home nutritious food and personal care items at no cost. These markets also invite colleagues to seek out assistance from Virtua’s social work team, access job training opportunities, and be referred to other resources to help them and their families thrive.

The Eat Well programs are “fueled” by Virtua’s generous philanthropic donors. In 2023, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion recognized Virtua Health as a Healthy People 2030 Champion for Eat Well and Virtua’s other mobile community health programs.
