(Lindenwold, NJ) – Several roadway projects will be underway across Camden County during the week of December 1 to December 5.
“Motorists should plan ahead to take alternate routes and give themselves plenty of time to get to their destinations,” said Commissioner Al Dyer, liaison to the Department of Public Works. “Also, remember that when you’re traveling through a construction area, please slow down and stay alert for crew members and debris.”
Berlin Township
South Jersey Gas will be working on Cooper Road from Monday, Dec. 1 to Thursday, Dec. 4 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. There will be full road closure between Route 73 in Voorhees and East Taunton Road in Berlin Township.
- South Jersey Gas will be working on East State Street on Tuesday, Dec. 2 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be a full road closure between River Avenue & Federal Street.
- Crews will be working on Haddon Avenue from Monday, Dec. 1 through Friday, Dec. 5 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be lane/shoulder closures between Newton Avenue & Euclid Avenue and Newton Avenue & Kaighn Avenue.
- PSE&G will be working on Federal Street and River Avenue from Monday, Dec. 1 through Friday, Dec. 5 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be lane/shoulder closures between Newton Avenue & Euclid Avenue and Newton Avenue & Kaighn Avenue.
- Crews will be working on Haddon Avenue from Monday, Dec. 1 through Friday, Dec. 5 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be a lane shift between Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard & Cooper Plaza.
- Crews will be working on North 27th Street on Thursday, Dec. 4 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be a full road closure between Cramer Street & High Street.
- PSE&G will be working on Ferry Avenue from Wednesday, Dec. 1 through Friday, Dec. 5 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, there will be a full road closure between South 7th Street & Kossuth Street. Thursday, there will be a full road closure between Kossuth Street & Phillips Street. Friday, there will be a partial road closure westbound between Phillips Street & South 8th Street.
Crews will be working on Chapel Avenue on Monday, Dec. 1 and Tuesday, Dec. 2 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be a partial road closure westbound between South Center Street in Merchantville & Hampton Road in Cherry Hill.
Collingswood
Crews will be working on Park Avenue from Monday, Dec. 1 through Thursday, Dec. 4 from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. There will be a full road closure between Dill Avenue & Ogden Avenue.
Lindenwold
Crews will be working on East Linden Avenue from Monday, Dec. 1 through Friday, Dec. 5 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be a full road closure between Irving Avenue & Emerson Street.
Magnolia
Merchantville
Crews will be working on Chapel Avenue on Monday, Dec. 1 and Tuesday, Dec. 2 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be a partial road closure westbound between South Center Street in Merchantville & Hampton Road in Cherry Hill.
Somerdale
Crews will be working on West Somerdale Road on Wednesday, Dec. 3 and Thursday, December 4 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be a full road closure at the intersection with East Atlantic Avenue.
