Kody Lee James Reilly, 29, of Stratford

It is with profound sadness that we announce the loss of a beloved son, brother, father, partner, nephew and friend.  On December 6, 2025, at the age of 29, Kody was in a fatal motorcycle accident.

Born with an adventurous heart, Kody lived life to the fullest and his enthusiasm lit up a room.  He loved having fun, was a ball of energy and had a big heart.  His special knack for making people laugh brought joy to all who knew him.  His smile is unforgettable and his energy was contagious.  He made friends wherever he went.  Kody had a way of turning ordinary moments into memories that will be cherished forever.

Kody was a devoted Eagles fan and was passionate about the game.  His love for motorcycles was just as strong. When he was riding, Kody found freedom and joy that reflected exactly who he was at heart.

Kody was a member of the Laborer Local #172 Union and worked for Think Pavers in Mt. Royal, NJ as a Foreman. His coworkers described him as a great guy, one of a kind and a very hard worker.  He enjoyed his job and made many friends along the way.

He was also a member of the South Jersey Centurions Motorcycle Club, a brotherhood who became like family to him.

Kody is survived by his mother, Dawnlee (McCleary) Saris; sister, Savannah (McCleary) McDade & husband Trevor McDade; his brother Bryan Saris; grandparents Faith & Leo McCleary and father figure John Howarth Jr, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.  His greatest devotion was to his partner Taylor, and their son Kaiden, who will now have an angel looking down and watching out for them.

Though his time here was far too short, Kody truly enjoyed life and left an impact that will last a lifetime. He will be remembered for his courage, loyalty and the joy he brought to those fortunate enough to know him.  May he ride in peace and his memory be a blessing to all who loved him.

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Thursday, December 11, 2025, from 6 pm to 8 pm and again on Friday, December 12th from 9 am to 10 am with a funeral service beginning at 10 am at McCANN-HEALEY FUNERAL HOME, 851 Monmouth St., Gloucester City. Interment will be private.
