Two Arrested for Child Sexual Abuse Material in December 2025

Camden County, NJ – Two Camden County residents were arrested last month for crimes related to child sexual abuse material (CSAM), reported Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay. Investigations conducted by the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office High Tech Crimes Unit, including task force officers from the Gloucester Township Police Department, Camden County Sheriff’s Office, and U.S. Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) – Cherry Hill, in collaboration with the Camden County Police Department, led to the following defendants being arrested in December 2025: • Jeffrey Mauer Jr., 38, of Gloucester Township • Mauricio Nemorio-Reyes, 22, of Camden Jeffrey Mauer Jr. was charged on December 5, 2025, with 2nd-degree Distribution of CSAM, 2nd-degree Possession with Intent to Distribute CSAM, and 3rd-degree Possession of CSAM. 

A cyber tip led detectives to an online account used to possess and distribute CSAM. During the investigation, detectives identified Mauer as the user of the account. Additionally, a forensic search of Mauer’s cell phone revealed CSAM. He was arrested in Gloucester Township on December 5, 2025, and remanded to the Camden County Correctional Facility. Mauricio Nemorio-Reyes was charged on December 29, 2025, with 2nd-degree Distribution of CSAM, 2nd-degree Possession with Intent to Distribute CSAM, and 3rd-degree Possession of CSAM. A cyber tip led detectives to an online account used to possess and distribute CSAM. During the investigation, detectives identified Nemorio-Reyes as the user of the account. Nemorio-Reyes was arrested in Camden on December 29, 2025, and remanded to the Camden County Correctional Facility.

“We are grateful to the High Tech Crimes Unit and our partner agencies for their exceptional work in 2025, resulting in nearly 50 arrests related to child sexual abuse material,” said Prosecutor MacAulay. “Additionally, these detectives are to be commended for their tireless proactive undercover chat investigations that led to the arrest of multiple individuals seeking to meet children online for sexual encounters. In the new year, we will continue to arrest those who possess and distribute these heinous images and videos as well as those who attempt to lure the most vulnerable victims. These efforts reflect our steadfast commitment to protecting children and holding offenders accountable.” All individuals charged with crimes are presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
