Ready for a hopping good time? The Easter Bunny’s jumping into Philly a little early, hiding egg-celent events across the region, like:
- Egg Hunt at Stenton: BYO-basket: Eggs are hidden all across this historic Germantown home, just waiting to be found during this free old-school Easter egg hunt at Stenton Museum. The festive family-friendly event also features crafts, face painting and refreshments (Saturday).
- Elmo’s Eggstravaganza at Sesame Place: Elmo loves eggs! Dress in your bun-day best for Elmo’s Eggstravaganza at Sesame Place. Elmo, Abby Cadabby and friends host kid-friendly parades, Bunny Hop dance parties, interactive shows, Easter egg scavenger hunts, Easter-themed dining and carrot patch photo ops with the Easter Bunny. All rides, shows and events are included with attraction admission; dining is purchased separately (Saturday through Monday, April 6, 2026).
- Easter Family Day at the American Swedish Historical Museum: Celebrate Påsk, or Easter, the Swedish way with crafts, face painting, an Easter egg hunt, and other traditions native to the Scandy nation, like dressing up as a påskkärringar, a Swedish Easter witch, at this family-friendly event at the American Swedish Historical Museum. Tickets are required and can be bought at the door (Sunday).
