With the onset of spring, black bears are actively foraging for food and may wander into neighborhoods in search of an easy meal. The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection is reminding residents to be bear aware by securing garbage and other potential food sources that can attract them. Together, the bear safety resources and tips shared by NJDEP Fish & Wildlife are furthering the Sherrill Administration’s mission to deliver safer communities across the state.

Wanted: Suspect for Robbery in the 15th District

The Philadelphia Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspect in this video:

On March 31, 2026 at approximately 3:20pm the suspect entered the business and began concealing items on her person. When the suspect was confronted, she produced mace and sprayed two employees before fleeing the location with multiple items.

Camden County Roadwork Projects

 Several roadway projects will be underway across Camden County during the week of April 6 to April 10. 

“Motorists should plan ahead to take alternate routes and give themselves plenty of time to get to their destinations,” said Commissioner Al Dyer, liaison to the Department of Public Works. “Also, remember that when you’re traveling through a construction area, please slow down and stay alert for crew members and debris.”
